The Kindness Advent Calendar

We love Christmas! Spread Kindness this year with our FREE Rhicreative Kindness Advent Calendar.

To begin, download the daily Kindness prompts from our website here:

Print them out and then cut them out – decide which prompt you would like to go with what number day, eg: if the prompt regards something to do at school it would be best to put it in one of the numbers at the start of the month when the kids are still at school before the holidays.

I used sticks (found at local park fallen at the bottom of a gum tree) to create a ‘tree’ style look in a vase, with mini boxes to put the prompts in, I also included a treat randomly in some of the boxes eg: freddo frog, lollipop etc. Star stickers on each box to write the number, (you could write directly onto the box too or use any style sticker – plenty to choose from at Officeworks or Craft stores) string to tie each little box (like a present) and then added the decorations.

Mini boxes, coloured baubles & string from Spotlight

Honeycomb ornaments from Typo & Kmart

There are many other options to use to put the advent calendar together – you could use envelopes or little bags to put the prompts in (like a party lolly bag) tie or hang them from one single branch or place them numbered in a cute box, checkout ‘advent calendars’ on Pinterest for more ideas!
