August 2022 – Life in Style trade fair
We were so thrilled to be back at the amazing Royal Exhibition building in Carlton for the 2022 August Life Instyle Trade Fair!
After 3 years of Melbourne not being able to host trade fairs due to border closures, lockdowns & hard times in the industry (The Melbourne fairs are the main calendar buying event for most retail stores) it was really exciting to be back amongst a positive energy. After such a rollercoaster few years through the pandemic we really noticed that so many people were happy & appreciative to be back at the fairs as well as being able to see products in ‘real life’!
After the long break between the last trade fair we exhibited at in 2019 I was feeling a bit rusty when working on ideas for our stand set-up! It really is a lot of work, particularly for a small business like ours juggling young children as well as designing new collections and the general business day to day ‘things’.
It all came together in the end after many late nights & weekends working out what would go where, avoiding catching covid before it was time to leave(!) and making sure when we hit the road from Adelaide to Melbourne we had every last thing covered from cordless drills & screws to blu-tac and hivis vests onboard!
We loved reconnecting with our loyal stockists who have supported our brand for many years as well as having the opportunity to meet new ones who we hope will enjoy our bright and fun range in their beautiful stores.
